Product Introduction

Palnat 75mg Capsule is a targeted therapy containing the active ingredient palbociclib. It is a cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor used in treating hormone receptor-positive, human epidermal growth factor 2 negative advanced or metastatic breast cancer. The medication is administered in combination with other anticancer drugs.

Common side effects associated with Palnat 75mg Capsule include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, fatigue, hair loss, dry skin, rash, infections, epistaxis, decreased appetite, low blood cell counts, oedema of lips and mouth, taste alterations, dry eye, blurred vision, and increased lacrimation. Notify your doctor if any side effects persist or cause concern.

Inform your healthcare provider if you have an allergy to palbociclib or any ingredients in this capsule. Before initiating treatment, disclose to your doctor any current signs of infection (fever, chills, sore throat), liver impairment, renal impairment, or carbohydrate intolerance. Seek immediate medical attention if you develop dry cough, chest pain, or breathing difficulty, as these may indicate pulmonary inflammation. Provide your physician with a complete list of all medications, supplements, and herbal preparations you are taking prior to starting this treatment.

Use effective contraception during treatment and for at least three weeks after the final dose. Palnat 75mg Capsule is not recommended for adolescents and children under 18 years of age.

Uses

Treatment of hormone receptor (HR)-positive, human epidermal growth factor 2 (HER2)-negative advanced or metastatic breast cancer.

How it works

Palnat 75mg Capsule works by blocking the protein called cyclin-dependent kinases 4 and 6, which are vital for the division and growth of cells. By blocking these proteins, this medication slows the growth and prevents the cancer cells from spreading.

How to Use

Take Palnat 75mg Capsule exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Take this medication once a day at the same time with food. Swallow this capsule as a whole with a glass of water. Avoid crushing, breaking, or chewing the capsule.

Side Effects

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them. Serious: Blood disorder (fever, chills, shortness of breath, weakness, bleeding, or bruising) Lung inflammation (chest pain, dry cough, or difficulty breathing) Common: Tiredness Hair loss Dry skin, rash Infections Low blood cell counts Decreased of appetite Nausea, vomiting Diarrhea Swelling of lips and mouth Changes in taste Nose bleed Dry eye, blurred vision, increased tearing

Expert Tips

During Palnat 75mg Capsule treatment, it is advised to avoid grapefruit and its juices and preparations containing St. John's wort. It is recommended to use effective birth control while receiving treatment as well as for at least three weeks after the final dose for females and at least fourteen weeks after the final dose for males. This medication may reduce fertility, so discuss with the physician if you have any concerns. Your doctor may recommend regular blood tests to determine whether Palnat 75mg Capsule affects your blood cells.

Safety Advice

Pregnancy: unsafe It is not recommended to take Palnat 75mg Capsule during pregnancy as it can harm the unborn baby. Women with childbearing potential should use effective contraceptives during treatment and for at least three weeks after treatment.

Lungs: Consult your doctor It is not unknown whether Palnat 75mg Capsule can be administered to patients with lung problems. consult your doctor if you have any lung diseases before starting the treatment.

Breastfeeding: unsafe It is not recommended to take Palnat 75mg Capsule while breastfeeding as it is not known whether it passes into the breast milk.
