Product Introduction
Peg-ancount injection contains pegfilgrastim as its active component. It is a cytokine that mimics granulocyte-colony stimulating factor produced in the body. The injection is used to treat neutropenia (low white blood cell count) caused by chemotherapeutic drugs. Chemotherapeutic agents can reduce white blood cells, which form part of the body's defence system.
Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you are allergic to pegfilgrastim, latex, or any other ingredients in this medicine. Inform your doctor if you have a cough, fever, breathing difficulty, cancer, or kidney problems, as this information will help your doctor evaluate and manage your treatment based on your health history.
During treatment, inform your doctor if you experience left upper abdominal or shoulder pain. If you are planning to become pregnant or think you may be pregnant, or if you are breastfeeding, inform your doctor before using this medicine.

Peg-ancount injection is a colony-stimulating factor that exerts its action by acting on blood-forming cells by binding to specific cell surface receptors, thereby inducing cell division, multiplication, and cell functional activation.
How to Use
The medicine will be administered to you by a healthcare professional in a hospital setting. It is usually administered in the skin (subcutaneous). Your doctor will decide the dose, route of administration, and frequency based on your disease condition and other factors.
Side Effects
