Pemcure 100mg Injection

Pemcure 100mg Injection contains Pemetrexed, an antifolate chemotherapy medicine used to treat non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and malignant pleural mesothelioma. It may be administered alone or in combination with other anticancer medicines, such as cisplatin, depending on the type and stage of cancer. To help reduce treatment-related side effects, your doctor may prescribe folic acid, vitamin B12, and corticosteroids before and during therapy. Regular blood tests are required before each dose to monitor kidney and liver function, as well as blood cell counts.

Before starting Pemcure 100mg Injection, inform your doctor if you have kidney disease, heart disorders, fluid around the lungs, or if you have recently received radiotherapy or any vaccination. Tell your healthcare provider if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or think you may be pregnant, as this medicine can harm an unborn baby. Effective contraception should be used during treatment and for at least six months after the last dose. Men are advised not to father a child during treatment and for three months after completing therapy and should discuss fertility preservation with their doctor if needed. Pemcure 100mg Injection is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age and should only be used under the supervision of an oncology specialist.

Pemcure 100mg inhibits the mechanism required for cell division and replication by blocking specific enzymes involved in folate metabolism (essential for cell replication) and DNA synthesis, which will prevent the cancer cells from growing and multiplying.

Pemcure 100mginjection is administered as an intravenous infusion into the vein. If this injection is recommended for you, it will be given by a healthcare professional. Do not self-administer. Your physician will choose the dosage and administration frequency based on the medical condition because it differs for each person.
