Product Introduction
Pexotra 100mg Injection contains Pemetrexed, an anticancer medicine classified as an antifolate agent. It is used to treat non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and malignant pleural mesothelioma, a cancer affecting the lining of the lungs. Depending on your treatment plan, it may be administered alone or in combination with other chemotherapy medicines such as cisplatin. To help reduce the risk of side effects, your doctor may also prescribe folic acid, vitamin B12, and corticosteroids before and during treatment.
Before each infusion, blood tests are performed to assess your kidney and liver function and ensure your blood cell counts are adequate. Inform your doctor if you have a history of kidney disease, heart problems, fluid around the lungs, recent radiotherapy, or vaccinations. Women should avoid becoming pregnant during treatment and for at least 6 months after the last dose, while men are advised not to father a child during treatment and for 3 months afterward. Discuss any fertility concerns with your doctor before starting therapy. Pexotra 100mg Injection is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

How it works
