Product Introduction
Piclib 100 mg is a targeted therapy containing the active constituent palbociclib. It belongs to the group of anticancer medications known as cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors. It is used in treating hormone receptor-positive, human epidermal growth factor 2 negative advanced or metastatic breast cancer in patients where cancer has spread to other parts of the body. It is given in combination with certain other anticancer medications.
Common side effects associated with Piclib 100 mg capsule include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, tiredness, hair loss, dry skin, rash, infections, nose bleed, decreased appetite, low blood cell counts, swelling of lips and mouth, changes in taste, dry eye, blurred vision, and increased tearing. Inform your doctor if any of these side effects occur or persist.
Inform your healthcare provider if you are allergic to Piclib 100 mg capsule and its ingredients. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have any signs of infections such as fever, chills, or sore throat, liver disorders, kidney disorders, or intolerance to some sugars. Consult your physician immediately if you experience symptoms such as dry cough, chest pain, or difficulty breathing, as these could indicate lung inflammation.
Inform your physician of all medicines you are taking, including supplements and herbal medicines, before you start treatment with this medication. Use effective birth control during the treatment and for at least three weeks after the last dose. It is not recommended for patients under 18 years of age.

Treatment of hormone receptor (HR)-positive, human epidermal growth factor 2 (HER2)-negative advanced or metastatic breast cancer.
How it works
Piclib 100 mg capsule works by blocking the protein called cyclin-dependent kinases 4 and 6, which are vital for the division and growth of cells. By blocking these proteins, this medication slows the growth and prevents the cancer cells from spreading.
How to Use
Take piclib 100 mg capsule exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Take this medication once a day at the same time with food. Swallow this capsule as a whole with a glass of water. Avoid crushing, breaking, or chewing the capsule.
Side Effects
Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them. Expert Tips
During piclib 100 mg capsule treatment, it is advised to avoid grapefruit and its juices and preparations containing St. John's wort. It is recommended to use effective birth control while receiving treatment as well as for at least three weeks after the final dose for females and at least fourteen weeks after the final dose for males. This medication may reduce fertility, so discuss with the physician if you have any concerns. Your doctor may recommend regular blood tests to determine whether piclib 100 mg capsule affects your blood cells.

Safety Advice
Pregnancy: unsafe It is not recommended to take piclib 100 mg capsule during pregnancy as it can harm the unborn baby. Women with childbearing potential should use effective contraceptives during treatment and for at least three weeks after treatment.
Lungs: It is not unknown whether piclib 100 mg can be administered to patients with lung problems. Consult your doctor if you have any lung diseases before starting the treatment.
Breastfeeding: unsafe It is not recommended to take piclib 100 mg capsule while breastfeeding as it is not known whether it passes into the breast milk.
