Product Introduction
Pleumet 100mg Injection contains Pemetrexed, an anticancer medicine that belongs to the antifolate class of drugs. It is used in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and malignant pleural mesothelioma, a cancer affecting the lining of the lungs. Depending on the treatment plan, it may be administered alone or in combination with other chemotherapy medicines such as cisplatin. To help reduce treatment-related side effects, your doctor may prescribe folic acid, vitamin B12, and corticosteroids before and during therapy.
Before each infusion, blood tests are performed to assess your kidney and liver function and ensure your blood cell counts are suitable for treatment. Inform your doctor if you have kidney disease, heart problems, fluid around the lungs, or if you have recently undergone radiotherapy or received any vaccinations. Women should avoid becoming pregnant during treatment and for at least 6 months after the final dose, while men are advised not to father a child during treatment and for 3 months afterward. If you have concerns about fertility, discuss them with your doctor before starting treatment. Pleumet 100mg Injection is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
Uses

How it works
