Product Introduction
Polivy 30mg Injection contains polatuzumab vedotin, an antibody-drug conjugate used in the treatment of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Patients should discuss any underlying health conditions, including kidney, liver, or heart problems, before commencing treatment with Polivy 30mg. Providing a complete medical history ensures the treatment is safe and effective.
Uses
The Polivy 30mg Injection is used in the treatment of the following: Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma
How it works
Polivy 30mg Injection works like a bomb: the drug has a guided part, the 'monoclonal antibody,' that specifically latches onto the cancer cells. Once attached, it releases a cancer-killing agent called 'MMAE' inside the B cells. This agent then disrupts the cancer cells' ability to divide and grow, leading to death. This targeted approach helps attack the cancer cells without affecting many healthy cells.
