Pomabuzz 2mg Capsule

Pomabuzz 2mg Capsule is a chemotherapy medicine containing pomalidomide as the active ingredient. It is classified as an immunomodulatory agent and is indicated for the treatment of multiple myeloma in adults. Multiple myeloma is a malignancy primarily affecting plasma cells, a type of white blood cell. In this condition, plasma cells proliferate uncontrollably and accumulate within the bone marrow, leading to bone and kidney damage.

Common adverse effects associated with Pomabuzz 2mg Capsule include shortness of breath, tiredness, weakness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, back and bone pain, dizziness, tremor, upper respiratory tract infection, sleeping difficulties, loss of appetite, lack of energy, muscle spasms, muscle weakness, numbness, tingling or burning sensation, low potassium levels in the blood, and anaemia. Inform your doctor if these side effects occur or persist.

Inform your medical professional if you have an allergy to Pomabuzz 2mg Capsule or any of its ingredients. Additionally, disclose to your doctor if you have high cholesterol levels, heart disorders, breathing problems, blood clot disorders, hepatitis B infection, neuropathy (pain in the hands or feet caused by nerve damage), or if you smoke, prior to commencing this chemotherapy medicine.

Pomabuzz 2mg Capsule is not recommended for adolescents and children under 18 years of age.

Treatment of Multiple myeloma

Pomabuzz 2mg Capsule works by stimulating the immune system to attack the cancer cells, stopping the formation of blood vessels supplying the cancer cells, and preventing the growth of cancer cells (myeloma cells)

Always take Pomabuzz 2mg Capsule exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Take this medicine with or without food. Swallow the capsules as a whole with water. Do not crush or chew the capsules.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medications cause side effects, not everyone gets them. Serious: Low white blood cells Bleeding or bruising Severe or bloody diarrhoea Blood clots (chest or leg pain, swelling) Severe liver problems (yellowing of skin or eyes, dark-brow colour urine, abdominal Pain) Severe allergic reactions (swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat, difficulty breathing) Common: Shortness of breath Tiredness, weakness Nausea, vomiting Dizziness, tremor Low potassium level in the blood (hypokalaemia) Back pain, bone pain Diarrhea, constipation Upper respiratory tract infection High blood sugar levels Loss of appetite, lack of energy Trouble sleeping Muscle spasms, muscle weakness Numbness, tingling, or burning sensation in the skin, Pain in hands or feet Anemia

It is recommended to take effective birth control for at least 4 weeks before beginning treatment, during treatment, and at least 4 weeks after stopping Pomabuzz 2mg Capsule treatment. Women who are pregnant or suspect they may be pregnant should not use this medication. Handle this medication with disposable gloves since it may come into contact with the skin. Do not share Pomabuzz 2mg Capsule with others even if they have the same symptoms as you have, since it may cause birth defects and other serious problems. It is advised to refrain from donating blood or sperm both during treatment and for seven days after treatment with this drug.
