Product Introduction

Potahin CL 1.5gm Injection 10ml contains the active ingredient Potassium Chloride, which is an electrolyte replacement solution. Electrolytes are chemicals and salts present in bodily fluids. This medicine is used to treat and prevent low potassium levels in the blood, a condition known as hypokalemia. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to Potassium Chloride or any of its ingredients. Do not use this medicine if you have hyperkalemia (elevated blood potassium levels), impaired kidney function, Addison's disease, severe dehydration, heat cramps, or hyperchloraemia (abnormally elevated chloride levels in the blood). Inform your doctor if any of these conditions apply to you before taking this medicine. Before starting treatment with Potahin CL 1.5gm Injection 10ml, notify your doctor if you have heart disease or have recently experienced a severe injury involving a large area of skin, such as a burn. During administration of this medicine, continuous ECG (electrocardiogram) monitoring is essential to assess your heart's activity. The common side effects of this medicine include tingling or unusual sensations, muscle weakness or loss of movement, irregular heartbeats or heart attack, elevated potassium levels in the blood, low blood pressure causing dizziness, pain at the injection site, and inflammation of the injected vein.
