Product Introduction
Proteoz 2.5mg Injection contains Bortezomib, a targeted anti-cancer medicine that belongs to the class of proteasome inhibitors. It is used to treat multiple myeloma, a blood cancer affecting plasma cells in the bone marrow, and mantle cell lymphoma, a rare cancer of the lymph nodes. This medicine is often administered in combination with other chemotherapy agents including cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, dexamethasone, rituximab, thalidomide, or pegylated liposomal doxorubicin, particularly in patients with newly diagnosed disease who are ineligible for blood stem cell transplant. Your doctor will determine the appropriate treatment plan based on your clinical status, disease stage, and concurrent medications.

How it works
Proteoz 2.5mg Injection works by blocking a protein complex called the 26S proteasome, which plays a key role in cell function and growth. By inhibiting this system, the medication disrupts cancer cell survival, making them more sensitive to chemotherapy. This slows down or stops the multiplication of cancer cells in the body.

Pregnancy: unsafe Proteoz 2.5mg Injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy unless clearly necessary. Both women of childbearing potential and men must use an effective contraception method during and three months after treatment.
Lungs: Consult your doctor It is unknown whether Proteoz 2.5mg Injection can be given to lung failure patients. Please consult your physician if you have any lung diseases.
Breastfeeding: unsafe Proteoz 2.5mg Injection is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Please discuss with your physician when it is safe to restart breastfeeding after this treatment.
