Product Introduction
Psorid 100mg Capsule contains the active ingredient Cyclosporine, an immunosuppressant medication. It is primarily used to prevent organ rejection in patients who have undergone organ transplantation, including kidney, liver, or heart transplants. It works with other medicines to prevent the body's immune system from rejecting the new organ. Following solid organ transplantation, the body mounts an aggressive immune response because it recognises the transplanted organ's antigens as foreign. Immunosuppressive therapy is therefore necessary after an organ transplant to prevent organ rejection.
Immunosuppressants increase the risk of skin cancer. Limit sun exposure, wear protective clothing, and use sunscreen with high SPF. Inform your doctor if you have recently received vaccination with live vaccines. Psorid 100mg Capsule should not be used in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to Psorid 100mg Capsule or its components.
This medication can raise blood pressure levels. It should be used cautiously or avoided in individuals with uncontrolled high blood pressure or a history of hypertension. Discussion of potential reproductive effects with a healthcare professional is important, particularly for individuals planning to conceive. Diabetes monitoring is important, especially for individuals at risk.
Uses
Prevention of organ rejection (Kidney, liver, and heart) Treatment of Rheumatoid arthritis and Psoriasis
How it works
By suppressing the immune system, Psorid 100mg Capsule helps prevent organ rejection in transplant recipients. After organ transplantation, the immune system recognizes the transplanted organ as foreign and launches an immune response to attack and reject it. Psorid 100mg Capsule inhibits the activation of T-cells, a type of white blood cell involved in immune responses. This suppression of T-cell activity helps to prevent the immune system from attacking and damaging the transplanted organ, thereby increasing the chances of successful organ transplantation.
How to Use
It is an orally available prescription drug. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of Psorid 100mg Capsule based on the disease condition and other factors such as body weight and age. Expert Tips
When using Psorid 100mg Capsule, it is important to take several precautions. These include monitoring infections, kidney and liver function, blood pressure, and neurological symptoms closely.
