Product Introduction
Qubol 1mg Tablet is an anticancer medication containing Anastrozole, classified as an aromatase inhibitor. It is indicated for the treatment of hormone-dependent breast cancer in postmenopausal women. Aromatase inhibitors work by reducing oestrogen levels through inhibition of an enzyme in adipose tissue that converts other hormones into oestrogen. This medication is used to delay recurrence of early-stage breast cancer.
Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, fever, itching, joint inflammation (arthritis), bone loss (osteoporosis), vaginal bleeding, hypersensitivity reactions, and joint, abdominal, and renal pain.
Inform your doctor if you have an allergy to Anastrozole or any ingredients in this medication before commencing treatment. Notify your doctor if you are still menstruating and have not yet reached menopause, have osteoporosis, or have liver or kidney dysfunction. If you have lactose intolerance, consult your doctor before taking this medicine. Do not use this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
