Product Introduction
Rablet 10mg Tablet contains rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It is prescribed to treat conditions involving excess stomach acid production, including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), gastric ulcers, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome is a rare condition characterised by overproduction of stomach acid. Rablet 10mg Tablet alleviates symptoms of excess stomach acid, such as heartburn, regurgitation, chest pain, and acid indigestion. Reducing gastric acid can ease discomfort and improve quality of life.
This medication is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to rabeprazole or other formulation ingredients. Allergic reaction signs may include rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, or difficulty breathing. It is not typically recommended for children under 18 years, as safety and efficacy in this population have not been well established. Alternative treatment options may be considered for paediatric patients with similar conditions.
Rablet 10mg Tablet can potentially increase blood levels of methotrexate, a medication used to treat certain cancers and autoimmune diseases. Co-administration with high-dose methotrexate is not recommended due to potential increased methotrexate toxicity.
