Product Introduction

Rapasim 1mg Tablet is an immunosuppressant medication containing the active ingredient Sirolimus. It prevents organ rejection in patients following kidney transplant, used in combination with other medications. After organ transplant, the body's immune system may attempt to reject the new organ. Rapasim 1mg is carefully prescribed to suppress the body's immune response and enable acceptance of the transplanted organ. This medication also treats sporadic lymphangioleiomyomatosis (S-LAM), a rare lung disorder. The primary symptom of this disease is shortness of breath, making Rapasim 1mg an important treatment option for S-LAM. Rapasim 1mg Tablet is not recommended for patients under 18 years of age. Regular blood monitoring is necessary to ensure safe and effective use. Patients require monitoring to assess therapeutic levels and organ function during treatment. Alternative formulations of sirolimus are available. Treatment with Rapasim 1mg requires adherence to prescribed dosing instructions. The manufacturer provides additional support, including a patient assistance programme for eligible patients.
