Product Introduction

Reketo tablet is a nutrient supplement containing Alpha Ketoanalogue, an active ingredient classified as an amino acid. It is administered alongside a protein-restricted diet to slow the progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD). The medication reduces uraemic symptoms—manifestations of nitrogenous waste compound accumulation that the kidneys normally eliminate—improves nutritional status, and reduces metabolic complications in patients with CKD. Reketo tablet lowers blood urea nitrogen levels and slows kidney disease advancement, thereby postponing the requirement for long-term dialysis.

Do not use Reketo tablet if you have an allergy to Alpha Ketoanalogue or any ingredient in the formulation. Avoid this medicine if you have hypercalcaemia (elevated blood calcium) or abnormal heartbeats, as administration may increase calcium levels in the blood and cause irregular heartbeats. Your doctor may recommend periodic monitoring of serum calcium levels during treatment. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking this medicine.
