Product Introduction
Rizact MD 10mg Tablet contains Rizatriptan as its active ingredient. It is primarily prescribed for the acute treatment of migraine attacks, including migraines with or without aura. This medicine may also be used to manage cluster headaches, a severe type of headache. Rizact MD 10mg Tablet helps relieve migraine symptoms such as headache pain, nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and sound, allowing patients to resume their daily activities. However, excessive use of migraine medicines may lead to rebound headaches, a condition in which headaches become more frequent or severe due to medication overuse.
Do not take Rizact MD 10mg Tablet if you have a known allergy to Rizatriptan or any of the ingredients in this medicine. It is not recommended for individuals with a history of ischaemic heart disease, including angina or a previous heart attack. Patients with uncontrolled high blood pressure should also avoid this medicine, as it may further increase blood pressure and raise the risk of serious cardiovascular complications. This medication should not be used by people with a history of hemiplegic migraine or basilar migraine.
Rizact MD 10mg Tablet should not be taken within 24 hours of using another triptan medicine, as this may increase the risk of adverse effects. It is also not recommended for patients with severe kidney impairment. Rizact MD is approved for the acute treatment of migraine in children and adolescents aged 6 to 17 years when prescribed by a doctor. Elderly patients can also use this medicine; however, caution is advised, especially in those with existing medical conditions or other cardiovascular risk factors. Always use this medicine exactly as directed by your healthcare provider.
