Product Introduction
Rosuvas 40mg tablet contains the active ingredient Rosuvastatin. It belongs to the class of medicines called statins and fibric acid derivatives. This medication is used to treat high cholesterol and to prevent heart attacks and strokes. A low-cholesterol diet and regular exercise are recommended whilst taking this medication. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to Rosuvastatin or any other ingredients in the formulation. Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, severe respiratory failure, thyroid problems, continuous muscle pain, or if you consume heavy amounts of alcohol regularly before beginning treatment with Rosuvas 40mg tablet. Do not take it unless prescribed by your doctor. Rosuvastatin 40mg alternatives include Crestor 40mg, Rosuvast 40mg, or Rovas 40mg, but only under your doctor's supervision. Before starting treatment with this tablet, inform your doctor if you are taking fusidic acid or have taken it in the last seven days to treat bacterial infection. Also inform your doctor before starting treatment with this medication about any anti-viral medications you are taking, including medications for HIV or hepatitis C infection. This medication contains lactose; inform your doctor if you are lactose intolerant before starting treatment. Do not use Rosuvas 40mg tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How it works
Rosuvas 40mg tablet works by reducing Low-density lipoprotein (LDL) levels. It works by slowing down cholesterol production and lowering blood cholesterol levels.
How to Use
Take the Rosuvas 40mg tablet as your physician advises. Take medicine at the same time. Do not crush, chew, or open the medicine. Your physician will decide the correct Rosuvas 40mg dosage and duration based on age, body weight, and disease condition. Only stop taking the tablet if your doctor advises you to stop.
