Product Introduction
Rosuvas CV 20mg Tablet contains two active ingredients. Rosuvastatin, an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin), is combined with Clopidogrel, a thienopyridine derivative. This combination is used to reduce high cholesterol and to help prevent heart attack and stroke.
This tablet is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to Rosuvastatin, Clopidogrel, or any component of the formulation. Rosuvas CV 20mg Tablet should not be used in patients with a known risk of bleeding, including peptic ulcer, intracranial haemorrhage, or active bleeding disorders. The antiplatelet component can increase bleeding risk, so caution is required in patients with bleeding tendencies.
Before starting treatment, your doctor may perform liver function tests to evaluate liver health. If you have a history of liver disease or experience signs of liver issues such as abdominal pain, dark urine, or yellowing of the skin or eyes, notify your doctor immediately.
Rosuvas CV 20mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with impaired kidney function. Your doctor may need to adjust the dosage based on kidney function and closely monitor kidney health during treatment.
This drug is not generally recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult your physician for advice on its use in these situations.
