Product Introduction
Rosuvas F 10mg tablet contains rosuvastatin and fenofibrate, two active ingredients used to treat high cholesterol and reduce triglyceride levels in the blood. These drugs help lower the risk of cardiac-related diseases. The medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of gallbladder disease including gallstones. It should be used with caution in patients with renal impairment, as it may cause kidney damage. It should be avoided by those with known hypersensitivity to any of the other ingredients in the tablet. Inform your physician if you are planning for pregnancy before starting treatment. Avoid pregnancy and breastfeeding during treatment. Use effective contraception to prevent pregnancy, as it can harm the developing fetus or nursing infant. Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, severe respiratory failure, thyroid problems, continuous muscle pain such as myopathy or rhabdomyolysis, or if you regularly consume heavy amounts of alcohol before starting treatment with Rosuvas F 10mg tablet, because it may increase triglyceride levels in the blood, and do not take it unless prescribed by your doctor. It is advised to follow a low-cholesterol diet and engage in regular exercise while taking this medication.
Uses
Hyperlipidaemia
How it works
Rosuvas F 10mg tablet works by reducing low density lipoprotein (LDL) levels. It works by slowing down the production of cholesterol, thereby lowering the blood cholesterol levels. By activating the lipoprotein lipase enzyme, the other drug reduces the levels of triglycerides in the blood and thereby lowers the risk of other complications associated with high triglyceride levels. Together, these two medications can help improve lipid profiles and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

It is an orally available prescription drug. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of Rosuvas F 10mg tablet based on the disease condition and other factors. Always take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. Do not chew, crush, or break the tablet. Swallow the whole tablet with water.
