Product Introduction

Salnetg 5mg Injection contains Nitroglycerin as its active ingredient. It belongs to the class of medicines known as nitrates. This medication is used to manage several heart-related conditions, including heart failure, acute myocardial infarction (heart attack), and angina attacks. It is also used to lower blood pressure during surgical procedures and to maintain blood pressure during and after cardiac surgery. Nitroglycerin works by relaxing and widening blood vessels, reducing the workload on the heart and improving blood flow, thereby relieving angina pain.

Do not use Salnetg 5mg Injection if you are allergic to nitroglycerin, other nitrates, or any of its ingredients. It should not be taken with medicines used to treat erectile dysfunction, such as sildenafil (Viagra), vardenafil, or tadalafil, as this combination can cause a severe and potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure. Avoid this medicine if you have shock, severe anemia, low blood pressure, low blood volume, low oxygen levels, certain heart disorders, fluid in the lungs, or a history of head injury or brain hemorrhage. It should also be avoided if you are taking riociguat for pulmonary hypertension. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have heart disease, recent heart attack, liver or kidney problems, thyroid disorders, hypothermia, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Salnetg 5mg Injection is generally not recommended for use in children.
