Secure Port Huber 22Ga Needle comprises rigid stainless steel construction with a metal hub for enhanced strength and a tip engineered to minimise septum damage. It is indicated for patients requiring long-term central venous access for blood withdrawal and administration of fluids, chemotherapy, analgesics, nutritional support, and blood products. This device is contraindicated in patients with active infections, inflammation, history of thrombosis, or documented intolerance to the device. Strenuous activity should be avoided for several days following device insertion. Bathing, swimming, and exercise may be undertaken during device use with physician approval. Return to routine activities may proceed once wound healing is complete.
