Product Introduction

The Secure Port Venous S-8Fr catheter comprises a flexible tube connected to a self-sealing silicone septum enclosed by titanium, stainless steel, or plastic (injection port). It is designed to provide repeated vascular access for administration of medications, fluids, and blood products, as well as for blood sample withdrawal across multiple occasions. This port system reduces the need for frequent dressing changes and site care, thereby lowering infection risk. It is indicated for patients requiring multiple intravenous access points, prolonged chemotherapy, and frequent blood transfusions.

Uses

Long-term chemotherapy, fluids, etc., Frequent blood transfusion or sampling Multiple sites for IV access and lacking useable peripheral IV sites

How it works

How to Use

Secure Port Venous S-8Fr Catheter will only be attached by your physician. Initially, they will secure it with a bandage until the skin around it heals.

Side Effects

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medications cause side effects, not everyone gets them.
