Product Introduction
Sequadra 110/50mcg inhaler contains the active components glycopyrrolate and indacaterol. It is indicated for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), a lung disease characterised by inflammation and airway narrowing that impairs breathing. The medication is used to relieve symptoms of chronic bronchitis, including cough, wheezing, and shortness of breath. It is also used to relieve symptoms of emphysema, a condition involving lung damage and destruction of air sacs that causes shortness of breath and wheezing.
Sequadra 110/50mcg inhaler should be avoided in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components. It should not be used in patients with cardiomyopathy, severe aortic stenosis, unstable angina pectoris, and tachyarrhythmia. It may worsen the condition in patients with severe renal impairment and untreated narrow-angle glaucoma. Caution is advised in patients with conditions including mild to moderate aortic stenosis, mitral stenosis, history of myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, conduction disturbances, hyperthyroidism, and diabetes mellitus. Sequadra 110/50mcg inhaler is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. It may be used in older adults; however, cautious use is important. Older adults are more likely to have concurrent medical conditions and to be taking other medications, which can increase the risk of drug interactions and adverse effects.
