Product Introduction
Sera Seal contains hemostatic agents, including agar and bovine coagulation factor proteins IIa, VIIa, IXa, and Xa. It is designed to rapidly control bleeding by promoting blood clot formation on contact, often within seconds. This product is used to help manage coagulopathy (bleeding disorders) and is commonly utilized in emergency, trauma, and surgical settings to minimize blood loss. Its use may also help reduce surgical procedure time by improving bleeding control.
Before using Sera Seal, inform your doctor about all prescription and non-prescription medicines, herbal products, and supplements you are taking, as well as your medical history, so appropriate treatment or dose adjustments can be made if required. Do not use this product if you are allergic to agar, bovine proteins, or any of its other ingredients. If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, consult your healthcare provider before using Sera Seal.
Uses
Coagulopathy (bleeding disorder) Used in emergency & trauma cases. Reduces surgical time by almost 50%
How it works
The protein called fibrin is the major component involved in forming blood clots in the body. The factors present in the hemostatic agent support the bodyâs clotting pathways to form a fibrin clot in seconds instead of minutes. This clot sticks to and reinforces the initial barrier formed by agar.
How to Use
Sera seal will be injected by your doctor, and you should not inject them into the veins or muscles. Your physician will decide the dosage and frequency of this injection based on the severity of your disease and other factors.
Side Effects
Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them. Sera seal is generally safe to consume and is not associated with significant side effects. However, consult your dietician if you experience any unfamiliar side effects.
