Product Introduction
Shelcal XT Tablet is a nutritional supplement belonging to the class of Supplements, containing the active ingredients Calcium, Vitamin D3, Mecobalamin, and Pyridoxal-5-phosphate. It is used to address nutritional deficiencies. The tablet is prescribed when a person's diet cannot supply sufficient amounts of essential minerals and vitamins required for proper body functioning and growth development. It is also used to treat low calcium levels and can be given for certain bone conditions such as osteoporosis (thinning of bone) alongside other medicines. Calcium is important for developing and maintaining strong bones and teeth and for proper functioning of the heart, nerves, and muscles. Obtaining adequate calcium through diet or supplements is essential because the body cannot produce calcium independently. Vitamin D3 is a fat-soluble vitamin that helps the body absorb and utilise calcium. Mecobalamin, or methylcobalamin, is primarily prescribed to individuals with vitamin B12 deficiency. Mecobalamin supplementation helps treat certain types of anaemia, such as megaloblastic anaemia, which is often caused by vitamin B12 deficiency. Pyridoxal-5-phosphate (PLP) is the active form of vitamin B6 and plays a significant role in supporting proper neurological function. Some individuals may experience dryness in the mouth, nausea, abdominal pain, constipation, and headache. If you experience persistent or worsening side effects, inform your doctor. This tablet should only be used under medical supervision during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Ask your doctor for advice before taking any other medicine. This tablet contains calcium, which can cause problems in individuals with kidney disease. If you have kidney issues, inform your doctor before taking Shelcal XT Tablet.
