Product Introduction
Sifasi Aqua 5000IU Injection is an antineoplastic agent in the class of luteinising hormone analogues. It contains chorionic gonadotropin as the active ingredient. The medicine is primarily indicated in fertility treatment to stimulate ovulation in women undergoing in vitro fertilisation (IVF). In males with hypogonadism (insufficient testosterone production by the body), this agent stimulates testosterone production. It is also used in the treatment of undescended testicles (cryptorchidism, where testes remain in a higher anatomical position rather than descending to the scrotum).
Common adverse effects associated with this injection include pain, redness, and swelling at the injection site, headache, fatigue, depression, and fluid retention. Notify your healthcare provider if these effects are a concern or persist beyond the expected timeframe. This medicine carries a risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. Contact your doctor if you develop lower abdominal pain, rapid weight gain, or difficulty breathing.
Sifasi Aqua 5000IU Injection is contraindicated in pregnancy due to potential harm to fetal development. Exercise caution if you have a history of thromboembolism, cardiac disease, hepatic disease, or renal disease; use should be determined by your healthcare professional. Report any known hypersensitivity to this injection to your doctor without delay.
Uses

How it works
Sifasi Aqua 5000IU Injection is a type of gonadotrophin that works by promoting ovarian follicular growth and maturation to increase the chance of pregnancy in women and increase sperm count in men. It helps the reproductive organs to function normally by stimulating the production of other hormones, such as estrogen and testosterone, which are important for fetal growth and development.
How to Use
These injections are available only with a prescription from a healthcare professional. This injection will be administered into the muscle or under the skin. Do not self-administer this medicine. The dose of the injection will be decided by your doctor based on your disease condition and other factors. Sifasi Aqua 5000IU Injection usually comes in vials containing a powder. The powder must be mixed with sterile water or bacteriostatic water before injection. After the injection, the healthcare provider may apply pressure to the injection site to help reduce any discomfort or swelling in the injected area.

Expert Tips
Sifasi Aqua 5000IU Injection can cause harm to a developing fetus or nursing baby, so it is important to discuss contraception options and the need to avoid breastfeeding during treatment. This drug causes fatigue, so encourage the patient to take enough rest and self-care during treatment. Chorionic gonadotrophin increases the risk of bleeding and bruising, so it is important to be careful when using sharp objects or participating in activities that may result in injury.
