Product Introduction
Silochet D Tablet contains a combination of Dutasteride and Silodosin, which work together to relieve urinary symptoms associated with an enlarged prostate in adult men. It is primarily used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Dutasteride belongs to the class of 5-alpha reductase inhibitors, while Silodosin is an alpha-1 blocker. Together, these medicines help improve urine flow and reduce symptoms such as difficulty in urination, frequent urination, weak urine stream, and incomplete bladder emptying.
Silochet D Tablet is intended only for adult men and should not be used by women or children. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to dutasteride, silodosin, or any of its ingredients, or if you have severe liver or kidney disease. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have heart disease or notice breast lumps or nipple discharge. Since small amounts of the medicine may be present in semen, appropriate contraception is recommended to prevent exposure to a pregnant partner. Also, tell your doctor if you are taking Silochet D Tablet before undergoing a PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) blood test, as it may affect the test results used to screen for prostate cancer.

How it works
Silochet D Tablets capsule blocks the conversion of the hormone testosterone to dihydrotestosterone by blocking an enzyme called 5α-reductase in the genital region. This reduces the concentration of dihydrotestosterone in the blood and increases the urine flow rate.
How to Use
Take the Silochet D Tablets as your physician advises. Usually, the tablets will be taken with or without food. Do not crush, chew, or open the medicine. Your physician will decide the correct dosage and duration based on age, body weight, and disease condition. Only stop taking the tablet if your doctor advises you to stop.
