Product Introduction

Silofast D4 Tablet contains Silodosin as its active ingredient. It belongs to a class of medicines that act on the prostate, bladder neck, bladder base, and prostatic urethra. It is used to relieve the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a condition in which the prostate gland enlarges in adult men, usually after the age of 40. Silofast D4 Tablet helps improve urinary symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, weak urine flow, difficulty passing urine, and incomplete bladder emptying. It may also help reduce the risk of acute urinary retention, a painful condition in which a person is unable to urinate.

Before taking Silofast D4 Tablet, inform your doctor if you have severe liver or kidney disease, experience dizziness, are planning to undergo cataract surgery, or are taking medicines for high blood pressure or fungal infections. Your healthcare provider will assess your condition and determine whether any dose adjustments or special precautions are needed to ensure safe and effective treatment.

Uses

It helps to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

How it works

Silofast D4 Tablet is an alpha-blocker and is prescribed to treat the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It relaxes the smooth muscle in these tissues by blocking the receptor without impacting the contractility. It also helps to relieve urinary incontinence.

How to Use

Take a Silofast D4 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Preferably, it should be taken every day at the same time, with food. It is best to swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water rather than breaking or chewing it.

Side Effects

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medications cause side effects, not everyone gets them. Serious Severe allergic reactions (Swelling on the face, tongue, or throat) Skin reactions Irregular heartbeat Common Dizziness Runny or blocked nose Diarrhea Impotence and low sex drive Low sperm count and movement Enlarged or painful breasts.

Expert Tips

Tell your doctor before the treatment commencement if you have lung and kidney disease. If you have ever fainted or felt dizzy when suddenly standing up, consult your doctor before taking Silofast D4 Tablet, as it reduces blood pressure. Avoid making plans to have children because this medicine leads to abnormal ejaculation (decreases the amount of semen released during sex) that temporarily affects male fertility.
