Product Introduction
Sirotor 1mg Tablet is an immunosuppressant containing sirolimus. It prevents organ rejection in patients who have received a kidney transplant, used alongside other medications. Following organ transplantation, the body's immune system attempts to reject the new organ. This medication modulates the immune response to permit acceptance of the transplanted organ. It also treats sporadic lymphangioleiomyomatosis (S-LAM), a rare lung disorder. The primary symptom of this condition is shortness of breath. Before taking this medication, inform your physician if you have liver disease, intolerance to certain sugars, a family history of skin cancer, elevated cholesterol, or other medical conditions. Sirotor 1mg Tablet is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Avoid grapefruit juice and grapefruits during treatment. Minimise sun exposure while taking this medication. Use sunscreen with high SPF (sun protection factor) and wear protective clothing when outdoors. Do not receive live vaccines during treatment with Sirotor 1mg Tablet. Use effective contraception during treatment and for at least twelve months following the final dose.
