Product Introduction

Solbeg 10mg Tablet is a urinary antispasmodic medication belonging to the class of muscarinic receptor antagonists. It contains Solifenacin Succinate as its active ingredient and is indicated for management of overactive bladder (OAB) symptoms. OAB is characterised by sudden, frequent, and uncontrollable urge to urinate, often accompanied by urinary frequency (passing urine more often than usual) and urinary urgency (strong and immediate need to urinate). Patients with OAB may experience these symptoms even when the bladder is not full, resulting in a sense of urgency that can be difficult to manage.

This medication is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to Solifenacin Succinate or any component of the formulation. Solbeg 10mg Tablet may worsen urinary retention (inability to empty the bladder). Caution is advised in such patients, and discontinuation should be considered if urinary retention develops. Inform your physician of any history of kidney or liver disease. Your physician may prescribe a reduced dose and conduct regular blood tests. Use during pregnancy is generally not recommended unless medically necessary. This medication is contraindicated during breastfeeding as it may affect the nursing infant. Do not breastfeed while taking this medicine. This tablet contains lactose, and use is not recommended in individuals with rare hereditary conditions of galactose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or Lapp lactase deficiency.

Uses

How it works

Solbeg 10mg Tablet works by blocking the action of a specific type of receptor called muscarinic receptor in the bladder. By blocking these receptors, this drug helps to relax the bladder muscles, reduce bladder contractions, and increase the bladder's capacity to hold urine.

Take the Solbeg 10mg Tablet as advised by your physician. Do not crush, chew, or open the medicine. Your physician will decide the correct dosage and duration based on age, body weight, and disease condition. Only stop taking the tablet if your doctor advises you to stop.
