Product Introduction
Solet 40mg tablet contains sotalol, a beta blocker used in the treatment of irregular heartbeat. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to sotalol or any ingredients in this medication. Patients with asthma, low blood pressure, lung disease, heart disease, liver disease, or kidney disease require careful evaluation before starting treatment. Your doctor may recommend monitoring of blood potassium and calcium levels and electrocardiogram (ECG) during therapy. Inform your doctor if you have thyroid disease or psoriasis, and discuss any planned surgical procedures. Pregnancy, planned pregnancy, and breastfeeding require discussion with your doctor; safety and effectiveness in these settings have not been established. Patients with lactose intolerance should exercise caution with this medication.

How it works
Solet 40mg tablet works by blocking the beta-adrenergic receptors (beta blocker) present in the heart and prolonging repolarization (agent widening the action potential) which result in the regulation of the heartbeat.
How to Use
Take Solet 40mg tablet tablets as your physician advises. Swallow the tablets whole and intact. This capsule should be taken with food. Your physician will decide the correct dosage and duration based on age, body weight, and disease condition. Only stop taking the medicine if your doctor advises you to stop.
Side Effects
Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them.
