Solitral capsule contains two active ingredients: Alfuzosin and Solifenacin Succinate. This medicine is indicated for the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, a condition characterised by enlargement of the prostate gland in men. The prostate gland is situated beneath the urinary bladder; excessive growth of the prostate gland compresses the urethra, resulting in uncomfortable symptoms such as difficulty in urination.

Inform your doctor if you are already taking medicines of the same class, such as alpha-blockers including Doxazosin, Indoramin, Prazosin, Terazosin, Tamsulosin, or Phenoxybenzamine, to avoid serious complications. If you are taking medication for high blood pressure, heart disorders, or fungal infections, report this to your doctor immediately.
Consult your doctor before starting treatment if you have kidney impairment, congenital heart rhythm abnormalities or heart failure, or low blood pressure. Patients aged above 65 years prescribed this tablet should exercise caution during regular activities, as this tablet may increase sensitivity to low blood pressure. During treatment with Solitral capsule, inform your doctor of any planned surgical procedures to mitigate the risk of low blood pressure.
Alcohol consumption is unsafe whilst using this medicine. Avoid operating machinery or driving, as this tablet may cause dizziness and unusual tiredness.
