Soralieva 200mg Tablet is a multikinase inhibitor containing sorafenib, a cancer medication. It is indicated for the treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, and thyroid cancer.

Do not take Soralieva 200mg Tablet if you are allergic to sorafenib or any other ingredient in the formulation. Contact your doctor immediately if you develop skin rashes, heart problems, chest pain, bleeding problems, or high blood pressure, or if you are scheduled for or have recently undergone surgery.

This tablet is not recommended for use in children and adolescents. Patients with diabetes require frequent monitoring of blood glucose levels, as the dosage of anti-diabetic medications may need adjustment to prevent hypoglycaemia.

Your doctor will monitor liver function tests and fluid and electrolyte balance to identify and manage potential adverse effects promptly.

Do not use this medication during pregnancy as it may cause fetal harm. Women of reproductive age should undergo a pregnancy test before commencing treatment. Continued use of contraception for at least six months after completing treatment is recommended.

Breastfeeding is not advised during treatment with this medication, as it may affect your baby's growth and development.

This treatment may affect fertility in both men and women. Consult your doctor before starting therapy regarding fertility concerns.

Inform your doctor of all medications you are currently taking, including prescription medicines, over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, and supplements.

Soralieva 200mg Tablet works by inhibiting multiple protein kinases involved in tumor cell proliferation and angiogenesis (the formation of new blood vessels that supply tumors). Specifically, it targets receptors for vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), and Raf kinases, which play key roles in cancer development and progression. This stops the growth and spread of the tumor cells to other organs, as well the formation of blood vessels in the tumor cells.

The medicine will be prescribed to you by a healthcare professional in a hospital setting. It is not recommended to take this medication with meals that are high in fat since this may reduce Soralieva 200mg Tablet's effectiveness. Take the pills at least one hour before or two hours after a high-fat meal if you plan to eat one. The dose will be decided by your healthcare professional based on your conditions.
