Product Introduction

Suplimed Protein Powder is a dietary supplement containing whey protein, colostrum, DHA, dietary fibre, vitamins, and minerals. It is formulated to provide additional protein support for patients with cancer. The included minerals and multivitamins contribute energy and support healthy brain and muscle function. Nutritional deficiencies can adversely affect cancer outcomes and treatment efficacy by compromising immune function, increasing the risk of complications, and diminishing quality of life in patients.

More than half of patients with cancer experience weight loss, muscle loss, and reduced appetite. Malnutrition represents a primary contributor to poor nutritional status in cancer patients. Additionally, when patients experience adverse effects from radiation therapy and chemotherapy—including nausea, vomiting, altered taste perception, and inflammation—the clinical need for nutritional supplementation increases.

Uses

Protein supplementation for cancer patients Management of weight loss strengthening of the immune system

How it works

Whey protein is a quickly absorbed and highly valuable source of protein that not only supports muscle health but also boosts the immune system by increasing levels of glutathione—a powerful protector against diseases like cancer. It helps in reducing oxidative stress, lessening muscle fatigue, eliminating potentially harmful substances, and promoting programmed cell death, known as apoptosis. Colostrum contributes to immune support mainly due to its rich concentration of antibodies IgA and IgG. Additionally, the omega-3 fatty acid DHA has been linked to improved outcomes in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.

How to Use

You can take this powder first thing in the morning, right before or right after working out, in between meals, right before a meal, or anytime during the day. Pour one scoop around 250 millilitres of milk, water, or any other preferred beverage. It can also be included in shakes or smoothies.
