Product Introduction
Tamdura capsule is a combination medication containing Tamsulosin and Dutasteride. It is indicated for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia in men (enlarged prostate). Benign prostatic hyperplasia is a non-cancerous growth of the prostate gland that can lead to urinary problems including difficulty in passing urine, frequent or urgent need to urinate, and urinary dribbling. This medicine is not recommended for adolescents and children under 18 years of age. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to soya, peanuts, or any of the ingredients, or if angioedema (swelling due to an allergic reaction) occurs after using certain drugs. Inform your physician if you have a serious liver infection, experience dizziness, or have malaise. Additionally, inform your doctor if you experience dizziness during or after urination (micturition syncope). If you are scheduled to undergo cataract or glaucoma surgery, inform your doctor that you are taking or have recently taken Tamdura capsule. Exercise caution if you have severely impaired renal function, as there is insufficient data from clinical studies regarding patients with severe renal impairment. In case of dizziness, sit down or lie down until these signs resolve. Report to your physician if you experience a drop in blood pressure during long-term use.
