To treat bacterial infections
How it works
The cell wall of gram-positive bacteria is entirely made of peptidoglycan, which is necessary for cell wall synthesis. Targocid 200mg injection interferes with the cell-wall biosynthesis of bacteria by binding to specific residues and inhibiting the polymer membrane. It works by killing the bacteria which can cause serious infections.
