Telma 80 H tablet contains telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide, which are antihypertensive agents that lower elevated blood pressure. This combination is indicated when monotherapy alone proves inadequate for effective blood pressure control and reduces the risk of myocardial infarction and stroke. This medication should be taken as directed by your doctor. It may be taken on an empty stomach or with food, but must be taken at the same time each day. It is essential to continue this medicine even if you feel well. As this medication contains hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic, it increases urinary frequency; therefore take this medicine at least 4 hours before bedtime.
