Product Introduction
Telma 80 H tablet contains telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide, which are antihypertensive agents that lower elevated blood pressure. This combination is indicated when monotherapy alone proves inadequate for effective blood pressure control and reduces the risk of myocardial infarction and stroke. This medication should be taken as directed by your doctor. It may be taken on an empty stomach or with food, but must be taken at the same time each day. It is essential to continue this medicine even if you feel well. As this medication contains hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic, it increases urinary frequency; therefore take this medicine at least 4 hours before bedtime. Do not use potassium supplements or salt substitutes without consulting your doctor. Inform your doctor of any existing kidney or liver disorders. If you are breastfeeding or planning pregnancy, you must inform your doctor before initiating this medication. During treatment with Telma 80 H tablet, blood pressure should be monitored regularly and kidney function tests should be performed periodically to detect any abnormal changes.
Uses

How it works
Telmisartan is the angiotensin receptor blocker and hydrochlorothiazide is the diuretic. They work by relaxing the blood vessels and making the pumping action of the heart efficient. The combination of both Telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide lowers blood pressure efficiently. Hydrochlorothiazide is a water pill that excretes the extra water and electrolytes from the body and improves blood flow.
