Product Introduction
Telma LNC Tablet is a combination antihypertensive medicine containing Telmisartan, Cilnidipine, and Chlorthalidone. It is prescribed to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) when a single medicine does not provide adequate control. Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels, Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker that improves blood flow by relaxing blood vessel walls, and Chlorthalidone is a thiazide-like diuretic that removes excess salt and water from the body. Together, these medicines help lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular complications.
Common side effects of Telma LNC Tablet include dizziness, ankle swelling, headache, drowsiness, tiredness, and stomach upset. Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery if you feel sleepy or dizzy. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to Telmisartan, Cilnidipine, Chlorthalidone, or any of its ingredients. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have kidney disease, liver disease, diabetes, electrolyte imbalance, or are taking other medicines for blood pressure or heart conditions. Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, and electrolyte levels is recommended during treatment. Telma LNC Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy, and women who are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding should consult their doctor before using this medicine. Lifestyle changes such as reducing salt intake, maintaining a healthy weight, exercising regularly, and avoiding smoking can further improve blood pressure control.
