Telma MCT 50mg/6.25mg Tablet contains telmisartan, metoprolol, and chlorthalidone, which are antihypertensive agents that help control high blood pressure and reduce excess water and electrolytes from the body. Telma MCT 50mg/6.25mg Tablet works by relaxing blood vessels to ease the heart's pumping action throughout the body, and it lowers the risk of heart attack and stroke. As this medicine is a diuretic, it causes frequent urination. It is advisable to take this medicine 4 hours before bed, and it is important to continue this medicine even if you feel well. The dosage of this medication depends on the condition and how individual patients respond to it. Telma MCT 50mg/6.25mg Tablet acts by lowering blood pressure and reducing the occurrence of heart attack and stroke; do not discontinue this medication without proper medical advice. This medication should be used with caution in patients with kidney disorders. No dose adjustment is required. Consult your doctor before taking this medication. Inform your doctor about any kidney, diabetes, and liver-related problems and other medicines taken for blood pressure and heart conditions. If you are breastfeeding, lactating, or planning for pregnancy, consult your doctor before starting this medication. While using this medication, blood pressure should be monitored regularly, and kidney function tests should be performed to monitor for any abnormal changes.

How it works
It works by relaxing the blood vessels by blocking the angiotensin and making the pumping action of the heart efficient. Chlorthalidone removes the excess of water and fluids from the body and also relaxes the blood vessels and improves the blood flow over a period of time.
How to Use
This medication is taken as per the advice of the doctor. It can be taken on an empty stomach or along with food but it has to be taken at a fixed time daily. Itâs very important to take this medicine even if you feel well. As it causes frequent urination, it's better to have this tablet 4 hrs before going to bed. The dosage of this medication will depend upon the condition and how individuals respond to the medication. Avoid breaking or chewing the tablet. Instead, swallow it whole with a glass of water.
