Product Introduction
Temoget 20mg Capsule contains the active ingredient temozolomide and belongs to the class of antitumor agents. It is prescribed to treat brain tumours, including glioblastoma multiforme in adults and malignant glioma, such as glioblastoma multiforme or anaplastic astrocytoma in patients older than three years. Glioblastoma and anaplastic astrocytoma are aggressive brain cancers with low survival rates. Anaplastic astrocytoma is treated with Temoget 20mg Capsule or radiotherapy following biopsy, while glioblastoma multiforme is treated with a combination of radiotherapy and Temoget 20mg Capsule, continued as maintenance therapy. Temozolomide works by interfering with cancer cell DNA, preventing cell growth and replication, which helps control tumour progression. This medicine is used for brain tumour therapy in both initial and maintenance treatment phases.
