Product Introduction

Temorel 20mg Capsule contains Temozolomide, an antitumor medicine used to treat certain types of brain cancer, including glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) in adults and malignant glioma, such as glioblastoma multiforme and anaplastic astrocytoma, in patients older than three years. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells. In newly diagnosed glioblastoma, Temorel 20mg Capsule is commonly given along with radiotherapy and then continued as maintenance treatment. For anaplastic astrocytoma, it may be used after biopsy or when other treatments have not been effective.

Common side effects of Temorel 20mg Capsule include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, diarrhoea, constipation, hair loss, skin rash, fatigue, frequent urination, vision or hearing changes, increased blood sugar levels, muscle and joint pain, memory problems, coordination difficulties, infections, sleep disturbances, and weight loss. Inform your doctor if these effects persist or worsen. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to Temozolomide or any of its ingredients. Before starting treatment, tell your doctor if you have hepatitis B infection, anaemia, low red or white blood cell counts, low platelet count, bleeding disorders, or liver or kidney disease. Regular blood tests are required to monitor blood cell counts during treatment. Temorel 20mg Capsule should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and both men and women should use effective contraception during treatment and for the period recommended by their doctor to prevent pregnancy.
