Product Introduction

Temozad 250mg Capsule contains Temozolomide, an antitumor medicine used to treat certain types of brain cancer, including glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) in adults and malignant glioma, such as glioblastoma multiforme and anaplastic astrocytoma, in patients older than three years. It works by slowing the growth of cancer cells. In newly diagnosed glioblastoma, Temozad 250mg Capsule is commonly used together with radiotherapy and then continued as maintenance therapy. For anaplastic astrocytoma, it may be prescribed after biopsy or when previous treatments have not been effective.

Common side effects of Temozad 250mg Capsule include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, diarrhoea, constipation, hair loss, skin rash, tiredness, frequent urination, vision or hearing changes, increased blood sugar levels, muscle and joint pain, memory problems, coordination difficulties, infections, sleep disturbances, and weight loss. Contact your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to Temozolomide or any of its ingredients. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have hepatitis B infection, anaemia, low red or white blood cell counts, low platelet count, bleeding disorders, or liver or kidney disease. Regular blood tests are required to monitor your blood cell counts throughout treatment. Temozad 250mg Capsule should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and both men and women should use effective contraception during treatment and for the period advised by their healthcare provider.
