Product Introduction

Tenecterel 40mg Injection is an antiplatelet agent containing tenecteplase. It is used to prevent blood clots in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS), including unstable angina or myocardial infarction (heart attack). This drug is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to other ingredients in the formulation. If you are scheduled for surgery, including dental procedures, inform your doctor. Due to increased risk of bleeding associated with this drug, your physician may advise you to discontinue the medication five days prior to surgery. If you develop irregular breathing patterns such as acceleration, deceleration, or experiencing pauses in breathing, consult your doctor for further evaluation. Tenecterel 40mg Injection is not recommended during pregnancy or if there is a possibility of pregnancy. Women of childbearing potential are advised to use appropriate contraceptive measures to prevent pregnancy while using this medication. If you are breastfeeding, consult your physician before taking this drug.

Uses

Prevent blood clots in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS)

How it works

Tenecteplase works by inhibiting platelet activation and aggregation. It specifically blocks a receptor called P2Y12 on the platelets, preventing them from clumping together and forming blood clots. This helps reduce the risk of heart-related events in individuals with ACS.

How to Use

Take the Tenecterel 40mg Injection as advised by your physician. Do not crush, chew, or open the medicine. Your physician will decide the correct dosage and duration based on age, body weight, and disease condition. Only stop taking the tablet if your doctor advises you to stop.
