Product Introduction
Terifrac Solo 600mcg Injection contains teriparatide, a parathyroid hormone (PTH) agent used to treat osteoporosis in adults. Osteoporosis is characterised by weakened bones that increase fracture risk. Terifrac Solo 600mcg Injection strengthens bone and stimulates formation of new bone tissue in patients. It is indicated for postmenopausal women with osteoporosis, to increase bone mass in primary osteoporosis or hypogonadal osteoporosis in men, and to treat osteoporosis in both men and women associated with prolonged systemic glucocorticoid therapy.
Inform your doctor if you have an allergy to teriparatide or any component of this injection. Exercise caution if you have severe kidney disease, bone cancer, bone disorders, or have recently received radiation therapy to bone. Notify your doctor of all prescribed and non-prescribed medications you are taking. Inform your doctor if you are planning pregnancy, may be pregnant, or are breastfeeding. Safety and efficacy have not been established in children or paediatric patients.
Uses

How it works
Terifrac solo injection exerts a therapeutic effect by stimulating the formation of new bone tissue and increasing bone mineral density. By activating osteoblasts, the cells responsible for bone formation, bone strength is enhanced, fracture risk is reduced, and bone healing is promoted. It offers significant benefits such as increased bone density, fracture risk reduction, and improved quality of life, and serves as an alternative for individuals who have yet to respond well to other osteoporosis treatments.
How to Use
It will be given to you by a doctor or nurse in a hospital or clinical setting. It is given as a subcutaneous injection (into the skin). Do not self-administer the injection. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of the treatment based on your disease severity, body weight, and other factors.
