Product Introduction
Torgo 10mg Tablet contains torasemide, a loop diuretic. It works by reducing excess fluid levels in the body. This medication is primarily used to treat oedema associated with fluid overload in patients with heart failure, liver disease, and kidney disease. It also helps in the management of high blood pressure.
Take this medication as directed by your doctor. It may be taken 4 hours before bed to minimise frequent urination during the night. Consistency in timing is important; take it at the same time each day. Dosage will be individualised based on your condition and response to treatment.
Common side effects include headache, tiredness, dizziness, stomach upset, dehydration, and decreased blood pressure.
Take this medication when you are feeling well. Do not stop taking it without your doctor's advice, as doing so may worsen your condition. Lifestyle modifications—including regular exercise, stress reduction, smoking cessation, and limiting alcohol consumption—may enhance the medication's effectiveness.
Before starting Torgo 10mg Tablet, inform your doctor of any long-standing kidney or liver disease. Provide a complete list of all medications you are currently taking. Notify your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding, as this medication may cause harmful effects and congenital abnormalities in the developing child.
Potassium supplements should be added to your diet, as this medication reduces potassium levels. Kidney function tests and electrolyte levels should be monitored regularly during treatment.
