Product Introduction
Tricium HD Tablet contains Calcium and Vitamin D3. It is used to treat low levels of calcium and may be given for certain bone conditions such as osteoporosis (thinning of bone) alongside other medicines. Calcium is a mineral essential for the development and maintenance of strong bones and teeth, and for the proper functioning of the heart, nerves, and muscles. Obtaining sufficient calcium through diet or supplements is important because the body cannot produce calcium independently. Vitamin D3, or cholecalciferol, is a fat-soluble vitamin that helps the body absorb and utilise calcium. Tricium HD Tablet works to promote healthy bones and teeth and to support other physiological processes in the body. Inform your doctor if you have kidney stones or kidney problems, high levels of calcium in urine, osteoporosis due to inactivity such as long-term bed rest, or Sarcoidosis. In Sarcoidosis, clumps of inflammatory cells can grow in any part of the body.

It is also important to avoid taking calcium supplements at the same time as foods high in oxalic acid (such as spinach and rhubarb) or phytic acid (such as whole grains and legumes), as these substances can interfere with the absorption of calcium.
