Product Introduction

Tromlieva 25mg Tablet 7'S contains Eltrombopag, a thrombopoietin (TPO) receptor agonist that helps increase platelet production in the body. It is prescribed to treat low platelet counts caused by primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) and hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. ITP is an autoimmune disorder in which the immune system mistakenly destroys platelets, the blood cells responsible for clot formation and protecting blood vessel walls. A reduced platelet count can increase the risk of severe bleeding and easy bruising. Tromlieva 25mg Tablet 7'S is also used in adults with severe aplastic anaemia, a serious blood disorder in which the bone marrow does not produce enough healthy blood cells.

Do not take Tromlieva 25mg Tablet 7'S if you are allergic to Eltrombopag or any of the ingredients in this medicine. Allergic reactions may vary from mild to severe and can include skin rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, or difficulty breathing. This medicine is contraindicated in patients with severe liver impairment or active liver disease, as it may increase liver enzymes and bilirubin levels, potentially causing hepatotoxicity and worsening liver function. Your doctor may recommend regular liver function tests to monitor your response to treatment.

During treatment, your healthcare provider may also advise routine eye examinations to check for cataracts and monitor for bleeding in or around the retina, the light-sensitive tissue located at the back of the eye. Regular monitoring helps detect any treatment-related complications early and ensures the safe and effective use of Tromlieva 25mg Tablet 7'S.
