Product Introduction
Trustrop 0.5% Injection contains ropivacaine, a local anaesthetic belonging to the amide group. It is used to numb body parts and provide pain relief by preventing pain sensation. It may be administered during surgical procedures, including caesarean section, and following surgery or trauma for pain management.
Do not use Trustrop 0.5% Injection if you are allergic to ropivacaine, other amide-type local anaesthetics, or any component of this formulation. Avoid use during intravenous regional anaesthesia or obstetric paracervical anaesthesia.
This medicine should not be used in patients with hypovolemia, where reduced blood volume may cause a fall in blood pressure.
Before treatment, inform your physician of any previous use of Trustrop 0.5% Injection. Exercise caution to prevent direct intravascular injection, which may result in immediate toxicity. Do not inject into inflamed areas.
Inform your doctor if you have age-related health concerns, cardiac disorders, advanced liver disease, severe renal impairment, or acute porphyria. Dose adjustments to Trustrop 0.5% Injection may be necessary depending on these conditions. If you or family members have a history of porphyria, alternative anaesthetic methods may be considered.
Use with caution in premature infants, newborns, and children under 12 years, as safety and appropriate dosing in these populations are not well established.
Inform your doctor if you are following a salt-restricted diet before receiving this injection.
