Product Introduction
Udirica 300mg Tablet contains the active ingredient ursodeoxycholic acid. It belongs to the class of medicines known as hepatoprotective agents. This medicine is prescribed for the treatment of liver and biliary disorders associated with cystic fibrosis and primary biliary cholangitis. Primary biliary cholangitis is a chronic liver disease in which impaired bile flow gradually damages the liver tissue. Cystic fibrosis is an inherited condition that affects the liver and bile ducts, causing thick mucus to block the bile passages and trigger inflammation. Do not take Udirica 300mg Tablet if you are allergic to ursodeoxycholic acid or any of the other ingredients in this medicine. Before beginning treatment, inform your doctor if you have acute inflammation of the gallbladder, a non-functioning gallbladder, narrowing or blockage of the bile ducts, or a history of gallbladder disorders. If you have liver disease or obstruction of the bile ducts, your doctor may recommend liver function tests every four weeks during the first three months of therapy. Regular monitoring also helps detect early signs of acute liver failure, particularly in patients with advanced primary biliary cholangitis. Before taking Udirica 300mg Tablet, tell your doctor if you have recently undergone intestinal surgery, have hepatic encephalopathy (a nervous system disorder caused by severe liver disease), a liver-related bleeding disorder, or any other liver condition. Inform your healthcare provider if you have an underlying kidney disorder, as there is limited information regarding the use of this medicine in patients with kidney disease. Common side effects of Udirica 300mg Tablet include pasty stools, diarrhea, rash, and abdominal pain.
