Uniblastin 10mg Injection is an anticancer medicine that belongs to the class of mitotic inhibitors and contains the active ingredient Vinblastine. It is used in combination with other anticancer medications to treat Hodgkin’s lymphoma, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, testicular cancer, breast cancer, and Kaposi’s sarcoma. Hodgkin’s and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma are types of blood cancer that affect the lymphatic system. This injection should be administered with caution in patients who have a history of nerve damage, respiratory disorders, or gastrointestinal diseases. Inform your doctor about all the medicines you are taking, as certain drugs may interact with Vinblastine. For instance, erythromycin may increase the risk of side effects associated with this medicine. If you are receiving radiotherapy to the liver region, your doctor may postpone treatment with this injection. During therapy, your physician may regularly monitor your white blood cell count, platelet levels, blood sugar, electrolytes, and kidney function to reduce the risk of serious complications. When used together with anticancer medicines such as bleomycin or cisplatin, this medication may increase the risk of heart-related problems.
